Recently, Gary Markham, CEO of aXpire, won the vote to become a new global board director for the Hedge Fund Association, or the HFA. This represented a huge vote of confidence in his abilities and experience, and also a massive opportunity for aXpire.
The HFA consists of members from 5 continents and 14 countries — it is truly global. Through this infrastructure, Gary will aim to leverage the HFA’s contacts for Resolvr and other applicable products/services as the association’s members represent the ideal demographic for the B2B side of aXpire’s business. In other words, aXpire will now have a direct reach into the global hedge fund community, and the business’ ability to network will be greatly aided.
aXpire is an institutional grade software developer for both hybrid and fully decentralized applications, which emphasize the benefits of blockchain in a user friendly setting. Asset management is a ~$60 trillion industry, growing to ~$102 trillion by 2020, according to PwC. The industry is highly “relationship intensive” with “who you know” factoring majorly into business success. The HFA directorship nomination not only qualifies aXpire as a “who you know” player within asset management FinTech, but also recognizes aXpire as a thought leader for asset managers.
Gary Markham’s role on the HFA board is an important quality indicator, and aXpire has already seen inbounds as a result of this appointment.
